A GROUP of local organisations is looking for residents to have their say on living in Kingswood.

Connecting Kingswood is a group made up of Kingswood-based not-for-profits/charities, community groups, Southern Brooks, Council officers, the Jobcentre, the police, Creative Youth Network, Friends of both Southey and Kingswood parks as well as local councillors.

The group wants residents to help shape future plans for the area by filling in their new survey and giving their views. It will only take 10-15 minutes to complete, and there is a prize draw where you have the chance to win shopping vouchers worth £25, £50 or £75.

Commenting on the work of Connecting Kingswood and their survey, Councillor Andrea Reid said: “We put our heads together to discuss problems we're aware of, keep each other in the loop of each other's work, and combine our efforts to improve life for residents in Kingswood.

“Connecting Kingswood have created a survey and would love as many residents as possible to take part. It will help inform the support we offer in future.”
