Library's back

September 29 2020

USERS of Kingswood Library have been able to drop in and browse books for the first time since March.

Opening times are shorter than normal - check online at  www.southglos.gov.uk/librarychanges or call 01454 865022 for details. Safety measures are in place and face coverings must be worn.

The library and others in South Gloucestershire were closed for four months then began to provide click and collect and bookable IT services in July. They also delivered books to vulnerable adults during the Covid-19 lockdown.

South Gloucestershire cabinet councillor Rachael Hunt said: “We have carefully planned the re-opening and have taken into account the safety of both the public and our staff, and It’s fantastic news that we can invite members of the public to drop-in and explore their library again.”
