YOUNG and old came together at a remembrance service in Kingswood to commemorate those who lost their lives during conflict.
On Sunday 10th November 2019, it was the 100th year since the first Remembrance Sunday in 1919, and Kingswood marked the occasion with members of the public, cadets, scouts and local MPs paying their respects to the servicemen and women. The parade, which was led by the Royal British Legion, began at 2:30pm, making its way along Kingwood High Street before reaching the Holy Trinity Church.
This was followed by the laying of the wreaths at the War Memorial, and a Remembrance service in the Holy Trinity Church.
