Museum talks in June and July

This year’s programme of monthly talks continues at the Museum on Wednesday 8th June, with a presentation by East Bristol Auctions.

This will be followed on Wednesday 13th July by the second of two talks telling the story of the Roman invasion, occupation and settlement of the area. This talk will be provided by Stephen Clews, the recently retired manager of Bath’s Roman Baths and Pump Room, and will feature the development of villas and the many important mosaics discovered across the area.

Admission to both talks costs £4, including tea or coffee, and seats can be reserved by calling 0117 960 5664.
