200 homes planned
A MILESTONE has been reached in the plans to build homes on the former Kleeneze site in Hanham.
Homes England, which is turning the brownfield site in Anstey’s Road into a “vibrant new community,” held a virtual consultation event to let people know more about the proposed development.
It unveiled its masterplan, which revealed that it was aiming to build 204 homes, 35 per cent of which would be “affordable”. The buildings would vary in height from two to five storeys.
Homes England said work to prepare the site would begin this summer, with an outline planning application going in to South Gloucestershire Council later this year.
